Welcome to the Jackson Garden Online Lessons!
My name is Bobbie Jackson. I have spent my life learning and teaching others how to live providently, be self-reliant and save money on groceries. I recognize that many people lack the basic knowledge required to plant and care for a yard and garden, use and preserve the plants we grow, and take advantage of annual grocery sales. Over the last few generations, as mothers have joined the workplace and processed, prepackaged foods have become readily available, the basic techniques for cooking and home organization have been lost.
I created this website to freely share the knowledge and experience I have gained. I primarily want my own children and grandchildren to have access to my lessons and recipes, but hope you and your family may benefit as well. The introductory lessons on my family and business will help you understand my perspective and the insights I try to share. The section on self-reliance outlines the principles that have shaped my family life and experience.
I hope you will take all the online classes and that you will forgive me for any mistakes or inaccuracies. If we can all pool and share our knowledge, everyone will benefit. I have spent countless hours and dollars to provide this information as a free service. You are welcome to link to my lessons and recipes, to print them and give them to your children. However these resources are copyrighted and any use for commercial gain is prohibited.
Thank you for your time and interest in becoming more self-reliant!
